Ana Kristina Gasteyer - American performer, comedian and actor - is a comedian. Her most well-known work is her time as a participant on the NBC sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live from 1996 until 2002. Gasteyer has also appeared on shows like ABC's Suburgatory and TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto and the film Mean Girls. Gasteyer was studying at Northwestern University when she began her acting career. She began her studies as an audio-major and then switched to theater studies following her participation in the college's improv group. Sheila Shay from Suburgatory was one of the most controlling characters, as she is on Lady Dynamite. Karen Grisham was the character played by Karen Grisham who had a eccentric persona. She was a television actress in the HBO TV show Eastbound & Down, Capadocia on Amazon Television, and in the comedic Nacho Libre (2006). Reguera was born in Veracruz. The mother of her child, Nena de la Reguera was Miss Veracruz who became a journalist and television personality. Reguera started taking ballet classes before pursuing a degree in performance arts at Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura.
