Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as a reporter and anchor for WPDE-TV which was located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. In the following years, she worked as a morning-news anchor and crime report at WCBD TV. O'Dell's articles in Charleston concerning how Charleston police acted in DUI cases with care, led to an inquiry by State Law Enforcement Division. The investigation resulted a stricter directive for state authorities. Ms. O'Dell was awarded the Best Report of the Media Award in South Carolina by the Associated Press. O'Dell has worked working in Charleston as a reporter and co-anchor for NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV station before moving to Access Hollywood where she is currently a co-anchor and correspondent during weekends. As well as her role as anchor on Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell also contributes to NBC News' Today and as well contributes to Dateline NBC. She's covered the events such as The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted the Pre ShowArrivals Programs during The Emmys. Her other co-hosting credits include the Miss USA pageant, and Miss Universe.
